Iterion Therapeutics is a clinical stage biotechnology company headquartered in the Texas Medical Center. Our first drug product, tegavivint, targets the protein TBL1 which interacts with multiple signaling pathways that control cancer cell growth. One of these is the Wnt/beta-catenin pathway which is frequently overactive in cancer. Tegavivint is currently being investigated in a clinical trial for a rare type of sarcoma, desmoid tumors.
