The project is guided by a volunteer advisory committee made up of nutrition experts, a program logic model and strategic plan, and professional staff.

Aims of the program are to: work within community structures such as Promotora programs and Area Health Education Centers to reach patients and caregivers, reach more rural and underserved populations, increase Telehealth capability, and to address cancer health disparities in cancer survivorship. The F. Marie Hall Institute for Rural and Community Health at TTUHSC will assist by providing access to its Telemedicine network that includes over 30 sites that serve towns as small as 1500 in population. These are located in clinics, schools, hospitals, community centers, and similar facilities.
